Beginning Thursday, Aug. 7, at 9 a.m. and continuing for approximately three years, Erie Street (between Juniata Street and US 40 in Havre de Grace) will be temporarily closed to through traffic. There will be no access to US 40 at this location. Erie Street will remain open to local traffic only. Residents may access Erie Street from eastbound US 40. Detours will be in place. Permanent single-lane closures began June 9 and will continue for approximately three years. One lane will remain open in each direction except during scheduled off-peak travel times.
