Thank you for your continued patience during the construction process! For those of you who live nearby or frequently travel across the Hatem Bridge, we are working very hard to make the construction process is as painless as possible. Please be patient and courteous, expect delays, and drive carefully in the work zone. What to Expect During the planning for this project, the MDTA worked with a group of local elected officials, residents and stakeholders to hear and address their concerns. Using this input, we have developed a construction plan that will allow construction to proceed in a timely manner with one lane open in each direction throughout the project. Since the Hatem Bridge will remain open during construction, motorists will not be allowed to use their AVI decal on the I-95 Tydings Bridge. However, if you currently have a valid AVI decal, you can renew it for free. Upon completion of construction, the $10 yearly fee for the AVI decals will be reinstated. View the Stop-In Center hours. The convenience of the MARC Commuter Train is available to commuters/residents who wish to use another mode of transportation. Information and schedules for the MARC. Train can be found on its website: www.mtamaryland.com/services/marc. Stay Informed About the Hatem Bridge Preservation Project:
